«To achieve our self-imposed climate target of ‹net zero emissions by 2035 at the latest›, we are placing a strong focus on local, green power generation and electromobility.»

Jan-Henrik Andersson

Achieving the corporate goal of Net Zero by 2035 is ambitious and requires great and diverse efforts. We are taking on this challenge because, as a green mobility hub, we want to contribute our part to decarbonized aviation. CO₂ emissions influenced by the airport will be reduced by at least 90 percent. The remaining approximately 10 percent must be actively and permanently removed from the atmosphere.

Electromobility: CO₂ is also being saved on the apron.

Climate forest
MUC

Establishment of a resilient climate forest capable of removing more CO₂ from the atmosphere over time than traditional managed forests

As an undisturbed habitat for many plants and animals, the MUC climatic forest also makes an important contribution to biodiversity.
